Picks of the Month

I've been feeling pretty grateful for the people that I surround myself lately. They consist of people that are smart, motivated, health conscience, creative, funny, I could go on and on. But because of these people I push myself to be better and to pursue the activities that I am interested in.

Right when Covid started, races were put on hold and communities started pulling together to help support those in need. A friend of mine got over 100 people to participate in a distance Covid 5K that raised over $3,000 for the local food drive. I was so inspired! I participated and not only did I get first place, but I beat my own personal record. It's probably the only race I will ever get first place in.. ever, but it felt good to come out on top.

Product Pick: Clean Snax

For participating she sent out a race package to each individual. In this package contained an amazing snack that I had never heard of: Clean Snax. They are SO tasty and I will be ordering them from Amazon more often than I need.

Made from ingredients without gluten, are low in sodium, have up to six grams of protein per serving, and are a source of healthy fats, it's no wonder people can't get enough.

Product Pick: GNC Multivitamin

My other product pick is the Ultra Mega Woman's Multivitamin from GNC. Now, I will 100% not claim to be an expert on vitamins and the effect on the body, but I have personally had great results with this vitamin. I didn't think that taking a multivitamin would affect me so much, but I felt a little light headed at times and thought it made sense to look into taking an iron supplement. The results? I am convinced these are a big reason I wake up feeling less groggy and mentally awake during the day. The suggested serving size is two, but I actually just take one a day and a bottle will last me over three months. I highly suggest!

Workout Picks

I have started to train for a triathlon that may or may not happen in the fall. Seeing as it was cold a few weeks ago and public pools are not open, I found a few at home upper body work outs to strengthen my arms (because I definitely need it).

HIIT and Upper Body

This will get your heart rate up and get you sweating. I had to do a few modifications but all you really need is a couple of dumbbells and you are good to go.

10 Minute Abs

This second workout pick is a quick, doable ab routine. You won't need any equipment for this one - just you and a mat.

I hope you enjoy these recommendations! Drop a comment and let me know what you think.
